Our first stitch

In the 1980s, Clamart was one of the basins of artisanal know-how in knitting, with more than 1000 workshops running at full capacity, manufacturing 40% of French sweaters.
Faced with relocations and globalization, most of them have disappeared.

We wanted to highlight one of the last family workshops in Clamart where we met the whole team several times for the adjustments of our first stitch. We are therefore very proud to have been able to create our first vest thanks to them! 🧶

We worked together to choose Italian, natural yarns, which we selected high quality in 100% merino because they are light and fine hairs that resist temperature variations.

We have also favored RWS, Responsible Wool Standard, certification for these yarns, a global standard which aims for the well-being of sheep and respect for pastures.

Both very soft, the wool of merino sheep is breathable and regulates temperature by cooling in summer and warming in winter. It does not crease and it is a naturally biodegradable fiber.

Offering you this type of product with the idea that you can wear this vest in all seasons and even on your little summer dresses was therefore obvious to us. 😍
